Please contact the support email provided in your invitation and we will help you activate the matter.

We will email your lawyer and copy you. Your matter becomes active when that lawyer replies with approval.

About you and the matter Your full name Your last name We use this in the matter ID and email address. Your invited email address Use the email address named in your MatterCase invitation. Matter name Use a short, non-confidential label your lawyer will recognize. Do not include the client's name or any confidential information.

Matter ID format last-name-uniqueid We sanitize and, if needed, shorten the last name. The matter name is never included. The final unique ID and private matter email address are generated after submission.

Your lawyer Lawyer's first name Lawyer's email address Approval is accepted only from this exact address.

I confirm that the named lawyer represents me in this matter and that litigation is pending or reasonably anticipated.

Once your lawyer approves, MatterCase will email both of you with the active matter address and next steps. For questions or corrections, use the support email provided in your invitation.
